One of the people in the photo is Mike Halpin. It was taken on a visit to New York a few years ago. My home is at the top end of Hampshire (UK) near the point where the counties of Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey meet. I consider myself very lucky because I am near to London, near to the river Thames and, at the same time, near to large areas of unspoiled countryside.
